Oxum is a brand of topical analgesics and non-prescription pain medications formulated to treat acute and chronic pain and inflammation.
As it turns out, the Oxum brand is owned by a Chinese pharmaceutical company called Kowa Pharmaceutical. Kowa has been working on pain medications for a long time, but it’s only recently that they have managed to get their product onto the market. For a number of years Kowa has been looking for a new pain medication and have been pushing the brand to the market.
At the time of this writing, Kowa is not yet selling their product commercially in the US, but if they sell it here a few years later they will. It’s not clear what the exact formulation is, but it’s thought to be a combination of two different analgesics mixed with a synthetic substance.

This is why we have painkillers, to dull the pain and allow us to continue working. If we had just gotten a painkiller, we would have been in a life and death situation. Painkillers are an effective way to avoid dealing with the pain and avoid a lot of the side effects that accompany narcotic use.
The problem is that narcotic painkillers are extremely addictive and extremely dangerous. There are even reports of death by overdose. Even the most liberal use of these drugs puts you at risk of death. Even if you have someone who knows what they are doing, they still have to live with the fact that they are potentially addicted to a dangerous painkiller. You need to choose between the risk of death and the risk of addiction. That’s why I still prefer OxyContin to Vicodin.
While Vicodin has a long time to go before it is as harmless as it once was, the problem with Oxy is that it is much more addictive and dangerous. Vicodin is much lower on the toxicity scale than Oxy, but it still has a way to go before it becomes perfectly harmless.
At least for me. At least until I find Oxy again.
I have found that Oxy is far more addictive than Vicodin. Even if I have not used Oxy, I still have to have it. That’s why I prefer Oxy to Vicodin.
